Flammkuchen is a specialty of the historic regions of Alsace, Saarland, Baden and Pfalz at the French-German border region. It is composed of bread dough rolled out very thinly in the shape of a rectangle or oval, which is covered with fromage blanc or crème fraîche, thin-sliced onions and lardons.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sachet Eurodiet organic bread
  • 40 ml Water
  • 1 Tbsp Cream cheese, natural
  • Hokkaido pumpkin
  • 1 Small Red onion
  • Arugula
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Mix the Eurodiet organic bread mixture with 40ml water and let it rest covered for 60 minutes
  • In the meantime, halve the pumpkin, remove the seeds and cut into fine slices
  • Clean and halve the red onion and cut into fine slices
  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees
  • Roll out the Eurodiet organic bread mixture on baking paper, spread the cream cheese on it, cover with the pumpkin and onions, season with salt and leave for 25min. put in the preheated oven
  • Finally garnish with rocket and enjoy
